How to upload files using FTP

Make sure you upload your files to the PUBLIC_HTML or www directory on the server otherwise thay will not be visible on the internet. Also, please be sure that your homepage is saved as an "index" file e.g., index.html, etc.
We suggest you download the Filezilla ftp client from http://filezilla-project.org if you do not already have an ftp client.

When using FTP, you will need to log in on the FTP client with the following details: host: ftp.yourdomainname.com --(Use Your domain name)

user: myUser@mydomain.com --Use the FTP user name that you have set up. It is important that you include your domain name with the FTP user ie. myUser@mydomain.com

Password -- When you set up an FTP user inside of cPanel, you will have to include a password for that user. Besure to remember it or write it down as you will need it to use your FTP client.
